Going, going, gone…

October 17th 2011

We also have less than a dozen copies remaining of both Coagula and Vudu Cartography. It seems unlikely either title will make it into 2012, but you’ll be glad to hear we have plenty of great new material coming up…

ATUA Launch Night at the new Treadwells, Bloomsbury

April 30th 2011

Around 80 people attended the launch party for ATUA, our new title from the offices of David Beth. Members of La Societe Voudon Gnostique travelled into London from the United States, Australia, Ireland, Italy, Croatia and Germany and with such exotic signatories on hand, book buyers responded with a signing frenzy. The queue at the till seemed continual and by the end of the evening the supply of launch night copies was utterly exhausted… and so were we. There was a select after party which kicked off around midnight, with around 30 attendees opting for a late night pizza. Thanks go to Christina and the girls at Treadwells who made it such a success, and to Vicci (aka Mrs Midian) for her photographic skills. A selection of images will be posted soon.

March 29th 2009

Events, events, events…

There is some very cool stuff happening in 2009 which, as always, we are really delighted to support. In addition to the welcome re-launch of the respected one day orgy of all things pagan that is known as Occulture on May 23rd, there is also the irresistible Thelemic glamour of the new three day Equinox Festival in London on June 12-14th. We understand tickets are limited and going fast, but given the music line-up alone that’s not surprising!

In addition, we are really delighted to support a very important new event for every magickally-minded American book-lover: the first Esoteric Book Conference in Seattle on September 19th-20th. We predict this event will become the essential date in every bibliomancer’s calendar.

All this good news calls for a serious drink, so may we recommend a drop of the green stuff? The highly talented team that distilled ‘Mansinthe’ have now brought us a tribute to Zos, released here in early April. You heard it here first! Salut!

Revised Website

April 30th 2007

After many months of work our new website is now operational. Thanks are due to Gyrus who worked diligently to produce an elegant and refined site that we hope you all agree is an improvement over the old design. We have taken opportunity to include many new features, including biographies for our authors together with galleries, articles and bibliographies concerning their work. Many overseas students have voiced frustration at not being able to easily find the original AOS material, so we have introduced an e-books section where visitors can download PDF facsimiles of Spare’s big five for free. We have also introduced e-commerce facilities so subscribers can update their own address details and receive email confirmation of receipt of their order. We hope you enjoy the new site!
