These are our terms and conditions for making purchases from our website, either by e-commerce, bank transfer or cheque.
Payment
Online: We can accept payment via Paypal of most major cards, including: VISA, MASTERCARD, SOLO or SWITCH.
By post: Alternatively, you may wish to send us your remittance, in £ sterling, made payable to ‘Fulgur Limited’ to our postal address: Fulgur Limited, BCM Fulgur, London, WC1N 3XX. Please allow an additional 14 days for postal orders to reach us. If you opt to pay for an order using the ‘cheque’ option, we can hold your books for a period of one month, after which the stock will be re-offered. Those customers buying deluxe limited editions from abroad are therefore encouraged to send their remittance via Paypal.
Shipping
UK
As from April 30th 2007, all orders will be sent first class/small packet depending on weight/size. Orders over £50.00 in value are often sent via Recorded Delivery. As usual, deluxe-signed limited editions will be sent by Special Delivery in the UK.
EU and overseas
Unless otherwise requested, orders will continue to be sent by the most economic method. This often means parcels are sent uninsured. In the event of a loss or non-delivery, we will endeavour to provide evidence of posting, but overseas customers will need to pursue the matter with their local postal service as we cannot beheld responsible for any loss. If you are ordering from overseas and would prefer your order is sent insured, please contact us for a tailored quotation.
UK: Allow 5 – 7 working days
Europe: Allow 7 -10 working days
Rest of the World: Allow 2-3 weeks
If your order does not arrive within these delivery times, we would encourage you to contact us directly before opening a dispute with Paypal. We have an excellent reputation for customer service and pride ourselves on resolving problems amicably.
Delivery
We will deliver the books ordered to the delivery address that you supply. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on the website as we cannot be held responsible for items sent to the wrong address. All delivery times quoted are estimates only, based on availability of the service, normal processing and delivery time. Public holidays are not counted as ‘working’ days. During the month of December, when postal services worldwide experience exceptional demand, delivery times may be longer.
Returned Goods or Cancelled Order Policy
In cases of goods that are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied please contact us via the general enquiries form and arrange to return the goods to our mailbox. We recommend that you use registered post or recorded delivery to return goods to us. We will refund postage costs incurred in returning faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods. We shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or incorrect goods but if replacement is not possible, or if an order is cancelled for any other reason, we will only be obliged to refund the full amount paid by you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Trade terms
We do not wholesale our titles in Europe, but we do supply a handful of specialist shops. In the USA, trade customers may obtain our titles from: J.D. Holmes, POB 2370 Sequim, WA 98382, United States, 001 360 681 2900, www.jdholmes.com.
