Anne Foucault holds a PhD from Paris Nanterre University. Her doctoral thesis was recently published as Histoire du surréalisme ignoré (1945–1969) (Hermann, 2022). Her work focuses on historiographical and political aspects of Surrealism, and more recently on André Breton’s collectionism. She is currently Assistant Curator in the Musée national d’art moderne — Centre Pompidou, Paris.
