Paul Ivey is Professor of Art History in the School of Art at the University of Arizona, where he teaches Modern and Contemporary Art and Theory. His primary research interests are the American religious built environment and the connections between spirituality and contemporary art. His latest book, Radiance from Halcyon: A Utopian Experiment in Religion and Science, was published in 2013. Also in 2013, Professor Ivey was awarded the Superior Teaching Award of the Humanities Seminars Program.
